BMM Testlabs is pleased to report that its ‘Next Generation Initiative’ is continuing to provide access to financial and educational resources in support of Native American youth, health and education causes.
Jodi DiLascio, BMM’s Director of Tribal Gaming, commented “BMM is committed to making a positive difference to Native American communities facing challenges, and the Next Generation Initiative is helping us reach this goal. Having the opportunity to show our support to the local communities we work with throughout Indian Country is something we take great pride in.”
Recently, BMM Testlabs has made donations to a number of Tribal organizations including the Washington Indian Gaming Association Scholarship Fundraiser, NIGA’s Spirit of Sovereignty Foundation, National UNITY Council and the Notah Begay Foundation.
David Garelick, Corporate Relations Officer, Spirit of Sovereignty commented, “I can’t tell you how much we appreciate and respect BMM’s generous contributions to the Spirit of Sovereignty and your other charitable endeavors. May your example be an inspiration to others.”
As part of BMM’s Next Generation Initiative BMM staff also participated in the Ute Mountain Tribes Career Fair in Towaoc, Colorado. Shelly Griffin, Chief Inspector, Ute Mountain Gaming Commission commented, “Ute Mountain Gaming Commission was really pleased to have BMM Testlabs come out to participate in our Career Fair. It really shows the commitment that BMM has in supporting not just our gaming commission but more importantly, our community members and their future!”
Mary Kim Titla, Executive Director, UNITY said, “Thank you BMM for your desire to support Native youth in Indian Country. We believe that investing in our youth will lead to strong, prosperous Native communities for generations to come. BMM believing the same means the world to us.”
BMM has been very active in supporting the Tribal Gaming industry over the last few months, through its attendance at Indian Gaming 2015; the WIGC, hosted by The Rincon Tribe of California; and the North West Indian Gaming Conference, held at Tulalip. BMM has also participated in the education tracks at Indian Gaming 2015 and most recently presented a training session at the Wisconsin Gaming Regulators Conference held at LCO Resort in Hayward. Last month BMM added the Washington Indian Gaming Association to its growing list of Tribal memberships.
DiLascio concluded “BMM continues to be engaged with and prepared to support the Tribal market in North America. We are honored to be able to give back to the Native American communities and support these worthy Tribal organizations through the Next Generation Initiative.”
