BMM Testlabs is pleased to announce that Ashley Burnside, formally of the Eastern Shawnee Gaming Commission, has been appointed as Tribal Services Manager. Based in Miami, OK, Burnside will join Jodi DiLascio, Director of Tribal Gaming, to provide support, training and technical compliance assistance to tribal gaming regulators across the USA.
Burnside brings over 12 years of tribal gaming regulatory experience to BMM. Starting her career at Peoria Gaming Center in Miami, OK Burnside oversaw slot and cash operations for the opening of Buffalo Run Casino in 2004. In 2008 Burnside joined her own Tribe, the Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma’s Gaming Commission, as a gaming inspector to oversee the development of what is now Eastern Shawnee’s EGM Compliance Department. Burnside was instrumental in developing many of the approved tribal regulations that are still used today and in 2013 she was promoted to EGM Compliance Supervisor.
Jodi DiLascio commented, “BMM is experiencing accelerating demand for support for tribal regulators and with more and more manufacturers choosing to test with BMM, it was clear that we needed to expand our team. Ashley has a very strong reputation in the tribal gaming regulatory community and is more than qualified to assist the many tribal regulators who depend on BMM for expertise and training. I am truly pleased to welcome Ashley to the BMM family.”
Burnside added, “In my position at the Eastern Shawnee Tribe Gaming Commission I have had the pleasure of working with BMM for the past year, and have gained tremendous respect for the members of the BMM Testlabs’ teams that I have worked with. I am incredibly excited for this opportunity to work with BMM and to share my insight and experience with tribal regulators of all nations.”
