BMM Testlabs is pleased to announce it is continuing its partnership with The National Tribal Gaming Commissioners & Regulators association (NTGCR) to offer a virtual Regulator Certification Academy in January 2021. “NTGCR is looking forward to continuing its partnership with BMM Testlabs to host our second virtual Regulator Certification Academy,” said Jamie Hummingbird, NTGCR Chairman. “The virtual training is designed specifically for tribal gaming regulators and is provided by experienced tribal gaming regulators, offering useful information in addition to real-world experience. With many in-person events still being canceled, we must adapt to the circumstances to continue our mission and provide regulators with unique ways to come together as a community in a virtual environment to share experiences and offer our continued support.” Registration for the Academy opened on December 10, 2020, and is being offered at a reduced rate. According to Chairman Hummingbird, “The Board recognizes that many tribal gaming operations are still experiencing a negative financial impact by the pandemic. As a result, tribal budgets have also been negatively impacted. By offering the training in an online forum versus a live setting, the cost of conducting the Academy is reduced. We respect the financial position our colleagues are in and wanted to pass those savings along to our participants.” Michael Price, Senior Director of Tribal Services, stated, “We look forward to hosting the three-day event taking place between January 12-14, 2021, to provide the highest level of virtual training and education available. As an NTGCR Associate Member, we are proud to offer our support and resources to help ensure the advancement of tribal gaming and education, especially with the unrelenting challenges the pandemic is presenting. We will continue to leverage our virtual webinar platform to offer an innovative and engaging training experience for all those in attendance.” Please visit NTGCR.com or email dawnr@ntgcr.com for more information on how to...
