BMM Testlabs is pleased to announce it has been awarded a license for the AWP market, issued by the Agenzia delle Dogane e dei Monopoli di Stato, Italy. BMM’s Italian business is led by Antonio Gridà Cucco, Senior Group Manager, Operations. Gridà Cucco has 8 years experience in the gaming industry, most recently working as Technical Project and Compliance Manager for BetStone in Europe. Gridà Cucco has delivered numerous AWP and Online certifications in the Italian market. In his previous position in the field of testing Gridà Cucco spent two years as a consultant at Sogei, where he was involved in the creation of regulations and standards for new technologies including server based and system supported gaming (VLTs). Gridà Cucco, commented, “This AWP license, coupled with our current online license, confirms that BMM now has complete coverage in Italy. Italy has enormous relevance in the European Gaming landscape and BMM is very pleased to now be able to offer services to both the land-based and online segments.” Gridà Cucco continued, “BMM has been operating in Europe for over 9 years, with a testlab in Italy for the last year. BMM Testlabs is pleased to report that its ‘Next Generation Initiative’ is continuing to provide access to financial and educational resources in support of Native American youth, health and education causes. Jodi DiLascio, BMM’s Director of Tribal Gaming, commented “BMM is committed to making a positive difference to Native American communities facing challenges, and the Next Generation Initiative is helping us reach this goal. Having the opportunity to show our support to the local communities we work with throughout Indian Country is something we take great pride in.” Recently, BMM Testlabs has made donations to a number of Tribal organizations including the Washington Indian Gaming Association Scholarship Fundraiser, NIGA’s Spirit of Sovereignty Foundation, National UNITY Council and the Notah Begay Foundation. David Garelick, Corporate Relations Officer, Spirit of Sovereignty commented, “I can’t tell you how much we appreciate and respect BMM’s generous contributions to the Spirit of Sovereignty and your other charitable endeavors. BMM Testlabs is pleased to announce it has partnered with two local colleges, and other gaming industry companies, to create Software Testing and QA curriculums for New Brunswick students. Jen Leger, Director of QA & Automation, BMM Testlabs, Canada stated “BMM has worked very closely with the CCNB as well as the McKenzie college in Moncton to create these programs. For the McKenzie college BMM helped to create an 11 month program, called ‘Software Tester’. With CCNB, BMM led the year-long development of curriculum and course outlines, for a one and a two year program, involving a number of industry partners to review and provide feedback.” Industry partners on the CCNB project included: IGT, GLI, PQA, Mariner and TSI Auto Solutions Jean Corriveau, Director of Operations, BMM Testlabs, Canada commented “BMM is the clear leader when it comes to QA/Pre-Compliance Testing in the gaming industry and we have been very pleased to provide our experience to these programs. It’s a really important step for local colleges to be able to offer QA-based courses, as the New Brunswick community continues to be a center of excellence for technology-based business.” Corriveau continued “Students enrolled in the Software Testing and QA courses will have the opportunity to intern at BMM during their study.
