LAS VEGAS, February 13, 2024 – BMM Testlabs (“BMM”) today announced a major milestone, becoming the first testing and certification laboratory approved for Peru’s new online gaming and sports betting program.
BMM was officially approved today by Peru’s Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (“MINCETUR”), following MINCETUR’s October 2023 approval of the country’s sports betting and iGaming regulations, making Peru the third country in South America to regulate these programs following Colombia and Argentina. The regulations came into effect February 9, 2024 and operators have until March 2024 to apply.
