STORM ANNOUNCES MIKE DREITZER AS CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER, BMM AMERICAS
Today I am pleased to announce Mike Dreitzer in the role of Chief Operating Officer of BMM Americas. Mike comes to BMM with broad gaming experience gained over 15 years in the U.S and internationally. Mike received his graduate degree in Applied Economics from Cornell University and his law degree from Emory University. Mike was the Deputy Attorney General for the State of Nevada, providing legal representation for the Nevada Gaming Commission and Nevada Gaming Control Board. Mike was the EVP and General Counsel for Progressive Gaming International directing all legal work and regulatory compliance for a listed public company. Mike was co-founder and COO of Global Gaming Group, one of the first international gaming content companies supplying vendors with game design and technology integration services. G3 was a client of BMM for a number of years. Over the last five months Mike has been working closely with the BMM North American executive to progress U.S. accreditations. In this time he has won the confidence of the executive team with his ability to lead key strategic activities. Mike has hit the ground running and will be announcing a series of organizational changes and additions in the Americas to improve business focus, responsiveness and performance. I wish to thank Rich Williamson and Wendy Anderson for their operational leadership service most recently. Going forward, Rich will return to deepening BMM’s regulatory impact in the U.S. through targeted thought leadership and relationships, whilst Wendy will return to the Office of the CEO to provide global Marketing and HR leadership. BMM Compliance is pleased to announce that it will be performing the functional testing of a new Internal Control System (ICS) for the Illinois State Lottery. This project was awarded to BMM as the winning bidder of the recent RFP, issued by the State of Illinois, Department of Revenue Lottery Division. The ICS has been developed to ensure that the new Lottery Central Monitoring System is working according to the operating requirements of the Illinois Lottery, as well as performing the auditing functions for all financial transactions. BMM is pleased to announce that it was selected by the Northstar Lottery Group, LLC to test its new Lottery product for the Illinois market. Northstar Lottery Group, a partnership of GTECH, Scientific Games Corporation and Energy BBDO, was created to operate the nation’s first outsourced state lottery. The RFP directs BMM to assist in testing efforts from a User Acceptance Testing point of view to ensure that the new Lottery CMS is working in accordance with technical documents and meets jurisdictional requirements. BMM is pleased to announce that it is working with CANIETI’s Section 4 as industry experts for the creation of technical standards (NOM) for class II, class III and electronic table games. BMM is very excited to be the first gaming industry independent test lab, of any kind, to be a member of this influential Chamber and we expect that other ITLs will follow BMM’s lead to request membership. CANIETI, La Cámara Nacional de la Industria Electrónica, de Telecomunicaciones y Tecnologías de la Información, is a prestigious and influential Chamber in Mexico to which over 1,000 electronic, software and IT industry companies belong. CANIETI’s Section 4 represents the gaming industry with nearly 35 companies and one Mexican Gaming Association. BMM has been working collaboratively with the members of CANIETI and, simultaneously, with the Secretaria de Gobernacion (SEGOB) on this important project creating new rules for modern gaming products. This is the fourth of BMM’s Global Testing Laboratories to be recognised to undertake Independent Testing for the gaming industry in Singapore. BMM’s Singapore Testlab is the only Singapore Testlab to have ‘Singapore Recognised Test Lab’ (SRTL) status. BMM’s other Singapore recognised Laboratories are in Australia and North America.
